Spoiler alert. American Idol's voting audience (the 23 million people who manage to cast 450 million votes) have spoken. Personally, I was hoping it would go the other way. But oh well. I think they both had a good chance. I'm still confident I'll have the ability to buy a number of albums from AI contestants, winner or not.
